Bringing Your Style to Life

We believe in crafting quality pieces that will last you through a lifetime of memories. Our approach to woodworking takes in the irregularities and imperfections in the wood to build something beautiful.

We don’t turn out dozens or hundreds of the same thing. We build one piece at a time. It’s slow. It’s inefficient. It’s hard work.

But it’s worth it.

I found a love of woodworking in 8th grade woodshop. Back then I built a clock that hung in my parents’ home for 20 years. Now it hangs in mine. I’m proud of that clock and hope that one day one of my children will ask for it for their home.

I tried woodworking again years later in the Marines, while stationed at Ft. Meade in Maryland. The base had a woodshop that we could use, equipped with all the basic tools needed to build furniture. I never was able to use it enough to get very good, and probably wasted more wood than I actually built with, but I loved it.

Fast forward a few more years. I got married, bought a house, and now had a space where I could build things. Over the course of about a decade I slowly acquired all the equipment needed to outfit a basic cabinet shop and really fell in love with building. My wife is the one that suggested I begin building and selling items. I really didn’t expect it to work, but found that people would gladly buy the things that I built.

I’ve settled on tables and charcuterie boards because I enjoy building them, and they’re both items that will serve for many years. Everybody needs a table. A dining table. A hall table. A simple table desk. I want to build them for you.

What do I hope for in the coming years? I wish to quit my day job and build furniture all day long, at home, so that I can spend more time with my kids as they grow up. I might just get there, one table at a time.
